Overture Settles With Geico; Could Google Be Next?
Media Post reports that Overture has settled its lawsuit with Geico. The details are confidential, but Overture will not have to change any of its business practices. The suit was exactly like the one Google has had to deal with, where Geico is suing because Overture was selling trademarked keywords to competitors for ads. Google's trial is set to start December 13, but it may be possible that they will settle the case before that date.
