Looksmart Gobbles Up Furl

Furl, a service that allows you to save and recall anything you see online, was scooped up by
LookSmart yesterday. Furl sent out this letter to its members letting them know of the new bosses, and of one immediate new feature: the allocation of
five gigabytes of potential page storage per user. LookSmart has clearly realized the velue of personalized search, and in one move assuages their customers fears of falling behind A9, Jeeves, and Yahoo. There is one
other major search company that still needs to show they are serious about winning this battle...
