All New, All Different Google
Search Engine Guide gives us the evidence that Google will be launching a new version of its index in the next few weeks. The evidence and conclusion appear spot on. Things are very similar to last year's "Florida" update. There are two different Googlebots going around these last few weeks. One deep-scans the whole website and links, while the other just makes a note of the pages in a site's directory. Google is most likely fixing the problems webmasters have been talking about, and we should see a much better working Google before October is out. Read the article.
