Amazon Launches Web Services
Cnet reports that Amazon is launching two new packages of software and specifications letting sites create web services tied to its e-commerce systems. Amazon E-Commerce Service 4.0 lets app developers access more detailed info on products Amazon lists, and Alexa Web Information Service, lets sites access Alexa's web traffic info.
