A Good Source For Google Desktop Tips
Scott Kingery is determined to collect every single Google Desktop tip out there into one place, so you can keep checking back at this site, which aims to grow into a very handy guide. Included in his tips are some amazing things I've never realized, like:
- You need to tell Google Desktop not to index... Google Desktop! Desktop makes the mistake of indexing itself, so you need to ban indexing http://127.0.0.1:4664/ and http://127.0.0.1/.
- How to move your Desktop index to wherever you want it to be.
