Is MSN Search Better Than Google?
Mike Banks Valentine at Search Engine Journal says the new MSN Search may be a Google killer. I can't blame him. His sites do great in the techpreview engine. My site, which has always gotten poor rankings at Google, also gets to be number one on MSN in every relevant category. Google just shows directories and link farms on those searches. Of course, as Mike points out, high rankings with MSN, at least for now, don't translate into high traffic, since Google gets better click-throughs. Of course, finally releasing this much-improved engine should improve MSN's traffic immensely.
