Pushing the Gmail Boundaries
Two more Gmail exploitations are on the scene that may push the boundaries on that one gig storage limitation.

First up is Goollery, a GMail based photo gallery. You can upload pictures from a website. The pictures will automatically be stored in your gmail accout. This is a pre-alpha project that has not been through the ropes yet. Presently you can demo it and view some screenshots, source code is not online yet.

Next is Gmail Drive, a Shell Namespace Extension for Windows Explorer that creates a virtual filesystem around your Google GMail account, allowing you to use GMail as a storage medium. This feat is accomplished by sending file attachments to your Gmail account.
