What If Google Were Elected To Run The Country?
The Stanford Daily's Amid Patel wonders, "What if Google ran the U.S.?" His suggestions for what a Google administration would do are great, including that Desktop Search could be used to find terrorists. Worth reading.

6) Citizens would quit raising a fuss about the Patriot Act, because they would graciously cede their privacy rights to Google without thinking twice about its invasive methods, so long as they’re in preliminary beta format.
 
It's so true!

We trust Google almost irrationally, and I hope we are never proven wrong.
