Dave Gorman's GoogleWhack Adventure Comes To New York
First, the description at the site:
Journey to the wildest places on the World Wide Web in the riotously funny, smash hit Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure, coming to New York Fall 2004. Driven by a lust for life and a desperate desire to do anything but his job, award-winning British comedian Dave Gorman falls under the spell of an obscure internet word game that takes him around the globe (3 times!) and brings him face-to-face with some of the funniest people on the planet.
The show is currently running for 6 weeks here in NYC, and I will try to review it. The DVD will be released November 6.

What is a GoogleWhack? It is the elusive two word query that only returns one result, and was turned into a game by Gary Stock. Dave was somehow inspired by a GoogleWhack to travel around the world and have crazy adventures, and thankfully for him, he figured out a way to turn it into a stage show and a book, where it sold out houses all over the world and won the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival award for Best One Person Show, an award Dave also won in 2001 for his show "Are You Dave Gorman". Lets hope I can get some tickets.
