Microsoft Plans Major Rollout Of New MSN Search
Newmediazero says Microsoft is planning a huge pre-Christmas campaign to launch the new MSN Search, which it has reportedly already spent $100 million developing. Personalization is at the heart of the engine, which should give it a base to diffrentiate from Google. However, more so than just features, the index is the most important part of any search engine, and thus far MSN's index has tested very well in beta. Microsoft stepping up to the plate takes this game to a whole 'nother level.

Very nice.

You know what I noticed? All of the search results were from different sites. Sometime Google's first page will show 5 results which are different pages from the same site. MSN doesn't do that, or at least not in my tests. Very interesting. Helpful too.
