GoogleBot Is Taking Too Much Speed
Reports are coming in that GoogleBot, the program Google uses to crawl and index the internet, is going wild, visiting some pages over a million times a day, and causing problems not unlike most viruses. GoogleBot is the most powerful program on Earth, running off the most powerful computer on Earth, and Google may be pushing the new version to index more pages than ever, hoping to beat Microsoft before the new MSN Search arrives next month.

maybe Google is shaping the next Internet via this new initiative; a high quality index where the deprecated "8 seconds loading time" websites will be out
